Webinar 2 June – The use of power assets in the provision of telecommunication services
Last 2nd of June, 2022, PRIME Alliance organised a joint webinar with EUTC (European Utilities Telecommunications Council) focus on “The use of power assets in the provision of telecommunication services”:
Within the Digitalization of Utilities in the framework of the Energy Transition, telecommunication services become one the requested pillars, as they provide the information connectivity required in an increasingly distributed environment.
The solution is a mix of providers and technologies and among them the use of the own power assets contributes to achieve the most efficient solution. Besides this, the power assets can be very well used to provide telecommunication services to third parties contributing as well to add revenues to the utilities.
The session was hosted by Miguel Ángel Sánchez Fornié (General Secretary of PRIME Alliance) and moderated by Julian Stafford (General Secretary of EUTC) in order to coordinate the discussion between the following experts in the field:

- Markus Hofsaess | Lead of Smart Grid Network Development – E.ON
