DLMS UA and PRIME Alliance Join Forces to Enhance Smart Metering Interoperability

DLMS UA is pleased to announce the signing of a liaison agreement with PRIME Alliance. This agreement paves the way for the alignment of PRIME companion profile with DLMS specifications, facilitating seamless integration of standardized DLMS UA generic companion profiles over PRIME communication infrastructure.

The liaison agreement between DLMS UA and PRIME Alliance represents a major achievement in the pursuit of heightened interoperability within the smart metering industry. It underscores the unwavering commitment of both organizations to drive innovation and standardization, ultimately yielding benefits for consumers, utilities, and stakeholders alike.

As part of this strategic partnership, both organizations will ensure that devices will meet the high standards set forth by both organizations and they will enable compliance and compatibility certification with the core DLMS UA specifications when operating over the PRIME communication protocol.
