The low-voltage last mile remains one of the biggest visibility gaps in distribution networks. This webinar will explore how BPL can extend real-time communications to the grid edge while enhancing the capabilities of existing PRIME infrastructures. Polish Power Transmission and Distribution Association (PTPiREE) is holding their 14th
conference on IT in thepower industry, which will take place on 24-27 November 2015 in Wisla, Poland.

As the process of grid computerisation is increasingly progressing, both in the grid management
(smart grids) and in commonly implemented smart metering, IT safety becomes an important issue
in the power industry. Inter-penetration of systems for grid management, gathering and processing
measurement data and decentralization of power generation sources make the power network more
vulnerable to cyber-attacks. Therefore, during this edition of the conference, we want to focus on the
safety of the power grid.

In addition to IT security, the participants of the conference will have an opportunity to explore the
latest technologies used by power operators in smart grids/smart metering, solutions for production
source management, GIS/SCADA systems, methods for supporting consumer services and many
other systems offered by providers of IT solutions and used for supporting electricity production,
distribution and trading. The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition, where the providers
